I survived my first field trip! It was wonderful. I'll be honest I woke up freaking out about the weather (why is it snowing April 29th) and then the idea of the buses that I ORDERED not showing up! The whole drive to school I was in a panic but it all turned out okay, of course. The day went off without a hitch, thanks to some awesome parents who accompanied me and took away the stress! I didn't take my own group of kids so that I could deal with any problems that may arise and get to spend some time with ALL of my kiddo's. It worked out perfectly! I really love the zoo, even though I am not an animal person at all, zoo animals fascinate me. I have a new appreciation and love for giraffes! I honestly think they are the COOLEST looking animal with the most beautiful pattern on their skin. Anyway, random. I feel like an accomplished teacher now, having been on this side of the field trip now. I didn't lose anyone!
Unfortunately I have to blur out their faces because I don't have official permission to post pictures of them....
PS we made these cute hats as a class to keep track of the kids. They turned out pretty cute!
