iowa.

Taylor and I flew out to Iowa a few weeks ago. Zach, Taylor's brother, got married to his high school sweetheart, Kylea. I had never been to Iowa and had never met most of Taylor's family. It was incredible. The best part for me was seeing a glimpse of Taylor's childhood and meeting the people that have so heavily influenced his life. We did a lot of fun things! I love his family and feel so lucky to have spent that time with them.

Tay picked me up at the airport with a big Dr. Pepper. We had to run some errands and I told him I love errands if I have a Dr. Pepper. He is too nice. Then we went to Palo for a picnic he had packed for us. It was a perfect spring day.

We drove to Nauvoo for the wedding. The temple grounds looked GORGEOUS, of course. On the way home we got stuck on the bridge while a boat passed so we hopped out of the car to take a photo on the Mississippi River.

We took a long drive out to the Amana Colonies and pulled over to take a photo in Norway, Iowa. Both Taylor and I have strong Norwegian blood so we felt like we owed it to our ancestors.

This is Taylor's backyard out in rural Iowa. It is a different kind of BEAUTIFUL; it is unbelievable.
