catch-up

Wow, it has really been 2 months since I have blogged. That just goes to show how ridiculously busy life has become. Well, we have had LOTS of fun things going on, so here's a highlight of a few :)

IOWA. I love Iowa. We went back in August for our open-house. Taylor's mom is amazing and I wish I had pictures of how beautiful she made everything but I am afraid my access is limited. One day when Tay and I were running some errands, we stopped at a Farmer's Market and bought bread. We LOVE the Farmer's Market!



Some of my Mother-in-laws good friends threw me a little shower at the Country Club while we were there. They are so sweet.



We did lots of fun stuff! Went to Iowa City with my parents and sister, went fishing, shot bow and arrows in the backyard. It was very fun and memorable.



A bunch of Tay's close friends moved away this fall. We threw a "Family Farewell" at my Aunt and Uncles cabin. We had a blast making pizza, playing cards, and hanging out! They have been such a support system for Taylor and I absolutely love this group of people! I feel so grateful for good friends.






THE BEST HUSBAND EVER!
Seriously. Taylor amazes me. I have never met a more talented human being in all of my life. I had been researching display book shelves for my classroom for a few days, trying to find the best deal and decide if it was worth it. Then one day he just decides, "Why don't I build them for her instead?" So, he did! Here is my husbands handy-work, his first ever wood working project. By the way, they look professional and 2 people at my school have asked me where I them and then if he would build some for them. He may have opened up a new career path :)


MY BEST FRIENDS WEDDING!
Aubrie and Chris FINALLY got married on September 17th. She was a gorgeous bride and Becca and I had a blast dragging our new husbands out onto the dance floor with us. We always have a good time when Whitney Houston and Journey are involved.
