backwards.

So it's SPIRIT week @ my school. Super fun. Today was "BACKWARDS DAY." Definition: teachers dress like students, students dress like teachers. My interpretation: I wore jeans, pigtails, and a JIMMER shirt (which I already owned...) My kids interpretation: take a look.

A bunch of them rolled their pants up to imitate me. Totally their idea. I do that a lot, have for years. Call it what you want. Comfort? Style? No idea. One of my boys came in his sisters floral shirt and a HUGE blonde wig. Funny funny.

So for the "literacy block" my kids work independently on different things each day. One station is called "WORD WORK" where they pick different activities to work on different words. Today I wandered around and found this.

She made my day. Enough said.

  1. I love this idea, although I'd be really scared to see how the kiddos view me. Here in Rexburg, I'm younger then most of their moms. Good luck in Iowa! My dad's family is from there and it's such a great place.
