You Know You Teach 1st Grade When....

So I am testing out this "Linky Party" think. Here it goes.
You Know You Teach 1st Grade When....
- You drive to school every day listening to the school musical cd to memorize the words.
- You become OBSESSED with fonts and nothing makes you happier than using them.
- You work 12 hours, come home, and work some more.
- You like holidays more than ever. It gives you a theme for everything!
- You call everyone "sweetie" and "bud."
- You drink a Dr. Pepper before you even ARRIVE at school to start the day.
- You have a drawer full of "notes" and "pictures" collected all year long. You can't throw them away but don't know where to display them all...
- Nose picking hardly bothers you anymore.
- A child reading one difficult word and using one difficult strategy makes your entire day.
- You can't wait to have kids just so you can educate them because it's FUN!
