spring flowers and a project.

We had a blast in Iowa. I absolutely love it there and can't wait to head out in a few months on our new adventure. It was a successful trip, to say the least. We came back with an apartment and I have a job as a head preschool teacher! We feel very blessed.

Check out these beautiful spring flowers from my in-laws and parents.

What a perfect time of year and a perfect way to brighten my day. I am a lucky girl.

On another note, Taylor and I started a project. We are refinishing these AWESOME chairs my in-laws are letting us steal.
I am so excited about being able to reupholster the cushions, this is exactly the project I have been dreaming of. They are still sitting in Iowa so you won't see the "after" photos till we return in August and can finish them up. Don't worry, we have already been on the fabric search, so exciting!

    It sounds like your trip was more successful than mine. We have an apartment, but no job for me. I am still on the hunt. I am super excited for you though! Congrats!

    You never called! I'm so excited the trip was a success and you found everything you guys were looking for! Where are you living and where are you teaching?! Message me and let me know, I'm super curious. :) I'm assuming you guys will be in the student ward, but I sure wish you were going to be attending mine. That would be so fun! I know my mom is already in talks of getting Joeen in on the summer car ride to Iowa. :)
