I was spoiled once again, this time by my mother-in-law, and took a little weekend vacation! Karen (MIL) has been wanting a "girls trip" for quite some time now. You see, she raised 4 boys and therefore enjoys spoiling her "daughters." She is so generous and I love spending time with her.

So, Friday morning bright and early Karen, Liz, and I got in the car and drove the 4 hours to Minneapolis. We went straight to the Mall of America and pretty much shopped, ate, and went to movies for 3 days straight. It was lovely. Here are a few of the moments I documented.
Our favorite restaurant discovery: CRAVE. It was the best pizza I have ever consumed in my life.


We saw "MoneyBall" and "Footloose." Pretty obsessed with both. It was the perfect way to rest our tired feet and break from shopping.

We really wanted to go to Footloose at a certain time to maximize our shopping time. Turns out the show we wanted to go to was the "VIP" showing, which simply means there are waiters walking around taking your order and you can order food/drinks/and beer. SO, naturally, we had to wear these lovely bracelets that said we could drink. We laughed.

We had such a fun time together. Thanks Karen for such a wonderful trip. I am such a lucky girl.
