it went like this.

Thanksgiving came and went. Kind of sad it's over... Here's how it went for us:

I cooked. I nearly singlehandedly made pumpkin & apple pie, & bread!!

We did a little fishing @ the pond. I worked on my cast, Taylor caught fish, I reeled them in, he did the rest :).

I convinced my mother-in-law & sister-in-law to Black Friday shop with me @ Wal-Mart. Mostly for the experience. Then we got hot chocolate and they dropped me off in line @ Kohl's where Taylor later met me. 

Tay and I did our research and decided on the Christmas tree we wanted @ Kohls. We raced into the store... there was no one within 10 feet of us. We rushed to our tree... where no one else was. We had schemed and plotted and devised a plan that was totally unnecessary. We laughed. A lot. Then the nice lady @ the cash register where there were also... NO people, took our photo! 

Now we have a lovely little tree in our lovely little apartment with these lovely little stockings I made for us this year (along with 2 more for our future children. Are you laughing @ me? It's ok. Everyone does.)
