rock climbing.

So... Taylor works a double shift at PF Changs EVERY Saturday. Each weekend when it is sunny he absolutely dreads working. Today he was supposed to work at 12:45 and at about 12:30 I was surprised to see him come in the door jumping up and down and screaming at me to put my shoes on. His boss called and told him not to come in until his dinner shift at 5:00 pm. So, naturally, we went rock climbing. He was like a kid on Christmas. For those of you who don't know, Taylor LOVES to rock climb. This was my first experience rock climbing OUTSIDE. I would say it was a good first experience. We hiked up Rock Canyon and found a spot that was easy enough for me to climb. I am still a beginner :) I personally think rock climbing is very frustrating, yet rewarding. I get stuck on the wall and just sit there, waiting for Taylor to make a suggestion that actually makes sense to me and that I think I am capable of. I succeeded today! I didn't cry or make him bring me down before reaching the top. Afterwards we went to "happy hour" at SONIC, then hit up the baseball field for batting practice with the buddies. Such a great Saturday!
